Great tasting Hard Boiled Eggs shouldn’t be difficult. This is the recipe I use at least 5 days a week for my beyond Organic Hardboiled Eggs.

Start with Beyond Organic Hardboiled Eggs, add a dash of Sweet & Sour Bliss Taco Seasoning. That’s it. Directions on how to make a great Hard boiled egg are below.

Nutrition Info

Eggs are a great source of protein. Eggs, like ours, tend to be higher in Omega 3’s since one of the feeds they get is alfalfa, and they also eat a lot of weeds. Beyond Organic Eggs are also great sources of Choline, Selenium, biotin, Vitamin B12 and Iodine.
The Nutritional Content percentage below is based on the DV (Daily Value) of that nutrient for the average person in a day for 1 egg.
  • Choline 35% 35%
  • Selenium 28% 28%
  • Biotin 27% 27%
  • Vitamin B12 23% 23%
  • Vitamin B2 (niacin) 20% 20%
  • Molybednum 19% 19%
  • Iodine 18% 18%
  • Protein 13% 13%
  • Phosphorous 12% 12%

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1 – Find Great Eggs

Find the best eggs you can. We have chickens that roam freely on an acre and half of land. They eat bugs, left over organic produce, and some organic feed to supplement. But no corn or soy. Chickens are meant to eat bugs so check at your farmer’s market if you can find eggs like ours.

Step 2 – Prepartion

The Katrin trick for great hard boiled eggs is simple. Take a fork and using one of the tongs lightly  puncture the round end of the egg before you put it in the water.

Step 3 – Boil for 15 minutes

Some people argue for less time than this. I don’t have problems peeling them, if I follow step 2 & 3.

Step 4 – Cool

I like my Hard Boiled Eggs Cold, so I drain the water and put them in the refregirator. I make enough to last a week.

Step 5 – Add Taco Seasoning

The secret ingredient is the Sweet & Sour Bliss Taco Seasoning. A dash or more on each egg is great. It is the right amount of salt, seasoning and spice without getting to spicy.
